Immersing oneself in the serenity of an alpine lake in the picturesque Val di Sole is a unique experience, wrapped in the magic of the mountains and the richness of the crystal-clear waters. Our invitation is to experience an unforgettable fishing adventure in an unspoilt corner of this Alpine valley, dedicated to respecting nature through Catch & Release.
At sunrise, when the world is still shrouded in mystical stillness, we will head for the Alpine pond, accompanied by the cool mountain breeze. With the mountains reflected in the calm, clear water, you will have the opportunity to try your hand at fishing for wild char and brown trout, two iconic species of these crystal-clear waters.
As well as offering the thrill of fishing, the Catch & Release experience is based on awareness and respect for fish life. Once caught, these prized fish will be gently released into the waters of the pond, contributing to the preservation of a delicate ecological balance.
Fishing in these Alpine lakes is an art that requires patience and skill, and you will be guided by local experts who know the secrets of these magical places. The fishing spots, which can be reached by trekking, offer a unique environment and the feeling of being in harmony with wild nature.
During the day, you will appreciate not only the beauty of the lake and your fishing skills, but also the peace and tranquillity that only the mountains can offer. You will end your adventure with a heart full of emotion and the smile of someone who has experienced a unique moment, immersed in the magic of the high lakes of Val di Sole.
The activity starts early in the morning, around 7 a.m. You will be taken by your guide in a jeep tranfer above the village of Vermiglio from where a trek of about 1 hour starts to reach the lake, a splendid unspoilt jewel off the classic tourist routes. There you will be able to fish for the whole day in the company of an expert mountain guide who will give you important information about the local geography, flora and fauna.
The price includes: fishing permit (licence required), transfer by jeep, accompaniment by an expert guide
To bring: mountain clothing, rucksack, water, lunch, fishing rod and bait
Natural or artificial bait preferred. Spinning and fly fishing are only recommended for experts.
