The places where we can have this experience are different but all characterised by low light pollution and peaceful surroundings. For example, we could decide to go to Fort Barbadifior in Val di Peio, or to the peat bogs of Campo Carlo Magno near Madonna di Campiglio. Or again to the Tonale Pass, in the Folgarida forests with destination Malga di Dimaro.

Or Valpiana and then, for those with legs, Malga del Doss above the ancient village of Ossana, which have been awarded the 'I cieli più belli d'Italia' (Italy's most beautiful skies) award and are among the best places to observe the Stars and the Milky Way.
