An immersion in the snowy environment to discover the most fascinating corners of Val di Sole in Trentino. A gentle, slow, emotionally intense activity. You will appreciate details that many people miss: the passage of a hare in the snow, the bed of a deer, pine cones eaten by squirrels.

You will learn very interesting facts about your surroundings, flora and fauna. Everything seems to stand still in winter but in reality life goes on, you just need to have the eyes to see it and the sensitivity to perceive it.

How does the activity unfold? We start by handing over the material and explaining its use technically. The guides will introduce you to the world of walking with snowshoes, explaining how to walk with this tool, which at first seems a little cumbersome but as the walk continues will prove functional and necessary.

After a short trial in a very simple section, you then begin the adventure to discover the secrets of the snowy forest.

Where will we go? We don't know yet, it depends on many factors: road conditions, weather, snow cover, etc. We will certainly select the most suitable location for you to enjoy a safe snowshoe hike. We could go to Val di Peio or Val di Rabbi in the Stelvio National Park, or even to the peat bogs of Passo Campo Carlo Magno near Madonna di Campiglio. If there is a lot of snow, we could also decide to stay a little lower, in the woods near Mezzana, Ossana or Dimaro Folgarida.

Unlike classic outings with large groups, our snowshoeing trips are reserved for a maximum of 8 people: this allows you to enjoy a more intimate, safe and profound experience, in which every detail of the snowy landscape becomes part of your journey.

You will walk off the beaten track, exploring silent forests, snowy glades and hidden corners of Val di Sole that only our guides really know. You will observe animal tracks, learn how to read the forest in winter and discover curiosities about fauna, flora and territory.

A premium, carefree experience. The meeting point is at the Ursus Adventures headquarters in Ossana. From here, the included transport to the start of the hike will also depart, to guarantee you comfort and zero logistical stress. Before setting off, we will provide you with snowshoes and poles and explain how to use them, so that you can move easily and naturally even if you are a beginner.
