Ski Mountaineering in the Brenta Dolomites
Leaving your trail on a snowy path, where you can only find the passage of a few animals: this is the true essence of ski mountaineering.
On an accompanied ski mountaineering tour , nature, slow movements, crisp air and unique viewsawait you.
The experience consists of an off-piste ascent with the accompaniment of a professional mountain guide and then a descent back down the slope to the starting point. 6 to 7 hours of sport and well-being discovering a real mountain, little frequented, where you can hear the sound of skiing in the snow.
What distinguishes Ursus Adventures is the tailor-made approach to each adventure. Whether you are a beginner eager to learn or an expert looking for a new challenge, the Ursus team will tailor the experience to your needs and skill level. This means that each trip is as unique as you are.
After retrieving your skis, boots and poles (if you don't have them, we can suggest partner hires), the mountain guide will give you a short lesson on the alternating ascent system with the aid of 'sealskins', which prevent the ski from turning back.
An initial rehearsal on the flat and then off we go. After the ascent lasting several hours, you will reach the ski slopes from where you will then descend to the starting point.
You can choose from many routes: Madonna di Campiglio, Folgarida, Passo del Tonale or Val di Peio. We will adapt the exit according to your needs and requests. See our entire proposal in our blog article on ski mountaineering in Val di Sole.
The instructor during the experience will guarantee you maximum safety, support, and will provide you with a great deal of knowledge, both technical and in terms of nature and landscape.
In order to carry out a ski touring activity, it is necessary to know how to ski sufficiently (to be able to ski down a red slope) and to have good physical preparation. Recommended clothing is ski clothing, in layers, with a backpack stocked with water and a spare T-shirt.
