Experience a different, unique and unforgettable day in the wildest Trentino. Get out of the hustle and bustle of the ski lifts, escape the queues and enter the new dimension of the winter outdoors made of silence, slowness and discovery.

We have devised this new activity for you, which includes an excursion with snowshoes + lunch in an alpine hut + sledging downhill.

Val di Rabbi is a side valley of Val di Sole, much sought after and appreciated for the natural beauty it holds. Winter keeps it secluded and protected from the great flow of tourists, which is why we at Ursus particularly appreciate it.

This is why we have created a different experience that combines a wonderful outdoor activity with a typical lunch in a malga that is a small, hidden gem, malga Fratte Bassa, run by a family of true locals.

How will the day unfold? The meeting is set for 9.30 am at the car park of the Rabbi cross-country centre with the guide. Snowshoes and poles will be distributed there. After a short lesson on how to walk with snowshoes (which seems obvious but isn't!) we will decide on the basis of snow and environmental conditions whether to go up to the famous Tibetan bridge or go directly to the Fratte Bassa malga. There, the Daprà family will welcome you and let you try their delicious dishes, where the territory emerges in all its essence. Once you have had your coffee, we will then return by sledge to the car park. Please note: sledding is not guaranteed, it will depend on snow and ice conditions. If it is not possible to do it, we will return with the snowshoes to the cars. Return is expected around 14:30.

When can it be done? We have scheduled it every Friday, but in the event of special needs or specific requests, we may consider doing it on other days.

How long does it last? Approximately 5 hours, from 9:30 to 14:30 but we are not there with the clock to check the minutes, we like to get lost and have fun
