Trekking in the Stelvio National Park

A trek in the Stelvio National Park is as interesting as the Val di Sole area in Trentino can offer.

Imagine yourself immersed in the tranquillity of the Stelvio National Park, ready to embark on a trek that will take you from Peio to Malga Talè. As soon as you begin your walk, you will immediately feel the contact with the uncontaminated nature that surrounds you, breathing in the fresh, pure air of the mountains.

The route is simple, designed to allow you to enjoy the beauty of the landscape without too much difficulty. As you walk, the sounds of the forest will accompany you: the singing of the birds, the rustling of the leaves moved by the wind and the gurgling of the streams that you will cross.

Along the way, you will encounter a series of emotional constructions for listening and discovering the forest and its inhabitants, enabling you to fully enjoy this experience.

After a pleasant, easy walk, you will reach Malga Talè. Here you stop for a moment, letting the serenity of the place envelop you. The malga, with its green meadows and surrounding mountains, looks like something out of a postcard.

You then resume your walk and begin your descent towards the Masi di Zampil. The path continues to offer you breathtaking views and each step brings you closer to the final part of your route. At the Masi di Zampil, you will make a stop at one of the typical farms in the area. Here you can savour the authenticity of rural life, with its traditions and flavours.

After your break, continue along the Torbi road, which will take you back to Peio. The feeling of having completed a perfect loop pervades you, as you think back to the moments you experienced during the trek. You will walk along paths immersed in nature, discovering fascinating and rewarding places and stories.

Arriving in Peio, you feel invigorated and grateful for having spent such a special day in the heart of the Stelvio National Park.

A scenic half-day tour under the supervision and assistance of a mountain professional who will be able to explain the nature, fauna and flora of the area as well as Alpine culture to you.
